UCLA basketball: Nelson cleared to practice and play
UCLA forward Reeves Nelson, who suffered a concussion against California on Saturday, was cleared to participate in full-contact drills in practice Thursday.
Nelson is expected to play against USC on Sunday. He is averaging 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Nelson was injured early in the 72-58 loss to California, but played 20 minutes and finished with six points.
