Quincy Pondexter is enjoying senior night, and Washington is benefiting, leading UCLA, 49-26, at halftime. As the only senior on the Washington roster -- other than the student manager -- Pondexter was honored before the game. He took that bounce into the game, sinking a three-pointer on the Huskies’ first possession and finishing with 14 first-half points.

Pondexter shot five for seven from the field, and the Huskies shot 68% in the first half and buried the Bruins with a 14-0 run late in the period.

Thinks were so desperate for UCLA that Coach Ben Howland used four of his five timeouts, but nothing he drew up in the huddle could blunt Huskies runs or kick-start the Bruins.

UCLA shot 37% in the first half.

Isaiah Thomas had 13 points for Washington.
