If the Kings are going to win a 10th consecutive game, they’ll have to make yet another comeback.

The Ducks took a 3-1 lead in the second period tonight before the Kings’ Anze Kopitar trimmed it to one with a power-play goal with 1:54 left in the period -- only to see the Ducks’ Corey Perry score 24 seconds later on what looked like a harmless shot in transition that beat Jonathan Quick on the stick side. The Ducks, who have yet to beat the Kings this season, have a 4-2 lead entering the third.

The Ducks have other concerns besides holding the lead. Ryan Getzlaf, the team’s leading scorer with 56 points this season, left the game with a sprained left ankle. X-rays were negative, but he was ruled out for the remainder of the game and more tests are scheduled for Tuesday.

Getzlaf is scheduled to play for Canada in the Olympics, with the first game Feb. 16. The Ducks have three games left before the Olympic break.
