In between tweets about suffering a chapped rear from horseback riding and promoting himself to land a tanning salon endorsement deal in the Northridge-Chatsworth area, former baseball slugger Jose Canseco has called out former NFL running back Herschel Walker.

‘I guess I may have to show Herschel Walker who the real bad boy of the Sports Industry is,’ Canseco wrote on on his Twitter page. ‘If the powers that be are reading, I want in.’

Walker, 47, was impressive in his Saturday night mixed martial arts fighting debut on Showtime, scoring a TKO of Greg Nagy in the third round.

Walker had derided Canseco for a lack of commitment before the steroid-tainted former ‘Bash Brother’ of steroid-tainted Mark McGwire lost in his own MMA debut last year. Canseco has also had a celebrity boxing match with Danny Bonaduce of ‘The Partridge Family.’

Attempts to reach Walker and his promoters at Strikeforce were not immediately successful.
