Galaxy to play Puntarenas of Costa Rica

You could call it a game of Bruce Arena’s versus Puntarenas.

Or perhaps not.

On Friday, the Galaxy announced that it would play Puntarenas FC of Costa Rica in an international friendly match on March 10 at Titan Stadium on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.

Arena, the Galaxy coach, will use the 7:30 p.m. match as preparation for the team’s March 27 Major League Soccer season opener against the New England Revolution at Home Depot Center.
