USC football: Taylor Mays, Anthony McCoy and Charles Brown in Senior Bowl

USC safety Taylor Mays, tight end Anthony McCoy and offensive tackle Charles Brown have accepted invitations to participate in the Senior Bowl, game organizers announced.

The game will be played Jan. 30 in Mobile, Ala., but it is the week leading up to the event that counts most as NFL coaches and scouting personnel descend on practices to evaluate players in preparation for the April draft.

Mays, a three-time All-American, had a team-best 96 tackles this season.

McCoy was slowed by an ankle injury for the second half of the season and finished with 22 catches. He averaged 20.8 yards per catch.

Brown was selected to the Sporting News All-America team.
