UCLA basketball: Point guard Jerime Anderson benched

UCLA point guard Jerime Anderson will start Wednesday’s game against California on the bench, punished for arriving late to an injury rehabilitation session this week.

Coach Ben Howland said Malcolm Lee will shift to the point and freshman Tyler Honeycutt will move into the starting lineup.

The addition of Honeycutt gives the Bruins more height and rebounding against a Cal team that has been successful on the boards this season.
