Nick Joanides prepares for NASCAR Showdown triple duty

Nick Joanides from Woodland Hills has entered all three of the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown races at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale.

Joanides, the first driver to win the Super Late Model and Late Model championships at Irwindale in the same season, will compete in the Super Late Model, Late Model and Camping World Series races on Jan. 29-30.

He will be racing a NASCAR Nationwide Series Ford Fusion owned by Joe Nava in the Camping World Series race, a 225-lapper that pits the top drivers from the East and West developmental series.
