Joey Logano, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie of the year and driver of the No. 20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, has entered the All-Star Showdown race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.

This will be Logano’s third start in the Showdown, a 225-lap NASCAR race that pits the top drivers from the Camping World West and East series. Logano won the Showdown race in 2007 as a 17-year-old rookie in the East Series.

Logano nearly won last year’s Showdown, but he crashed with leader Peyton Sellers on the last lap. Matt Kobyluck raced passed both drivers to win.

Go to Haddock in the Paddock for more from Logano and the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown on Jan. 29-30.
