Josh Grant will race in the AMA Supercross season opener at Angel Stadium tonight.

The winner of last year’s season opener said he was a little sore, but ready to take to the track tonight in Anaheim. Grant, a rider from Riverside, crashed while practicing on a private track near his home in Riverside on Tuesday. He hit his head, injured his shoulder and broke his nose in the crash.

Grant did not participate in the final practice session and said he was resting his shoulder.
