I didn’t think I’d be back in this medical area so soon but, sure enough, I’m again on Pau Gasol hamstring watch (new acronym: PaGaHaWa).

The Lakers forward-center consulted a doctor this morning and test results will not be known until later this afternoon. He left last night’s game against Dallas because of a sore left hamstring.

Gasol missed 11 games at the start of the season because of a strained right hamstring, so here we go again. I’m already feeling hamstrung.

In other news, Ron Artest went through a full practice and said he felt like he could play Tuesday against Houston, but he will be re-evaluated after Tuesday’s shoot-around.

Finally, Lamar Odom did not practice today because of intestinal flu. His status for tomorrow is uncertain, but I’d bet $1,000 that he’s much more likely to play than Gasol, upset stomach ot not.
