UCLA football: Bruins have 10 players named to Pac-10 All-Academic team

UCLA punter Jeff Locke was named first-team Pac 10 All-Academic team. Tight end Logan Paulsen, defensive end Damien Holmes and cornerback Alterraun Verner were named to the second team.

Honorable mention went to guard Nick Ekbatani, wide receiver Gavin Ketchum, tight end Ryan Moya, punter Danny Rees, fullback Trevor Theriot and linebacker Sean Westgate.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average and be either a starter or significant substitute.
