UCLA forward James Keefe, recovering from a dislocated shoulder, said before today’s game against Delaware State that he expects to be available for his team’s Pacific 10 Conference opener this week.

Keefe warmed up with teammates, running the floor, shooting jump shots and dunking the ball.

‘I’ll play in the next game,’ he said.

Doctors cleared him for noncontact work last week and he is expected to begin contact drills in a few days. The Bruins face Arizona State at Pauley Pavilion on Thursday.
