Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have a baby

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, are the parents of a baby boy.

Brady announced the birth at a news conference Wednesday, calling it ‘a wonderful experience in my life.’

‘It went great,’ said Brady, adding that mother and child are doing well. ‘I didn’t get much sleep.’

Just last week, Brady revealed that he found out the baby’s gender but was keeping it a secret from his supermodel wife at her request.

‘I’m really the only one that knows,” Brady, 32, said. “She’s a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out and she didn’t, so she said, ‘Go ahead.’ It will be a surprise for her.’

Bundchen, 29, and Brady were married in February. It is the first child for Bundchen and the second for Brady, who has a 2-year-old son, Jack, with actress Bridget Moynahan.
