It’s been a quiet day -- so far -- in the Tiger Woods scandal-frenzy. So let’s look ahead to golf for a moment.

As always, the first Grand Slam golf tournament is the Masters in April.

Gambling site Beted.com pegs Woods as the huge favorite to win his fifth Masters title next spring, listing him at 2-1 odds. The only other player even close is two-time Masters champ Phil Mickelson, at 13-2. Former British Open champ Padraig Harrington is next at 15-1.

Despite Woods’ personal problems, the gambling site is obviously weighing heavily on his 14 major tournament wins overall to establish him as the usual Masters favorite.

In fact, three players who won major tournaments in 2009 are considered longshots at the Masters, according to Beted.com: Angel Cabrera, current Masters champ, is 38-1, and U.S. Open champ Lucas Glover and British Open champ Stewart Cink are both listed at 48-1. And PGA champ Y.E. Yang, who out-dueled Woods to win, isn’t even on Beted.com’s board.
