Ryan Getzlaf gets a freebie, Ducks still lose

With the way things have gone this season for the Ducks, it’s too bad not every goal can be as easy as the one Ryan Getzlaf scored against the Ottawa Senators on Sunday.
Getzlaf scored from center ice after his dump in took a bizarre bounce off the glass and squirted past Ottawa goalie Brian Elliott. It was definitely one of those once-a-year kind of moments for the Ducks.
Despite the give-me goal, the Ducks still lost. I guess that’s what happens when you’re stuck at the bottom of the Western Conference.
