Report: Dodgers trade Juan Pierre to the White Sox

Juan_500

Tim Brown of Yahoo sports has just sent out a tweet that the Dodgers have traded Juan Pierre to the Chicago White Sox for two minor leaguers, with the Dodgers picking up about half of Pierre's remaining salary.

Pierre, 32, hit .308 for the Dodgers last year and was a more-than-capable substitute for Manny Ramirez during Ramirez's suspension. Pierre also stole 30 bases.

You can read The Times' Dylan Hernandez's story here.

We will have more on this later on The Fabulous Forum and on latimes.com/sports
