Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who was so sick with an upset stomach during Saturday night’s game against the Utah Jazz that he needed to take intravenous fluids before the game and at halftime, was feeling much better Monday.

A Lakers team spokesperson said that Bryant didn’t practice Monday before the team took off for a four-game trip but that the guard was not sick anymore.

Bryant is expected to play Tuesday night against the Chicago Bulls.

Bryant appeared to have little energy during the game Saturday night, but the Lakers took Sunday off and had a light practice Monday, allowing him time to get well.

Bryant is still dealing with a fractured right index finger, which was injured against the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday night at Staples Center.

He tried to play with his sickness and injury in Salt Lake City against the Jazz, but he shot poorly, going seven-for-24 in scoring 16 points.

The Lakers had their 11-game winning streak snapped in Utah.

The Lakers will try to start another winning streak when they play the Bulls.
