Denver Broncos’ Brandon Marshall ties NFL record with 20 receptions

Denver Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall has tied Terrell Owens’ NFL record for receptions in a game with 20.

Marshall tied the mark on a five-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Orton in the fourth quarter of today’s game at Indianapolis.

The score cut the Colts’ lead to 21-16 with 9:44 to play.

Owens caught 20 passes for San Francisco on Dec. 17, 2000.

Marshall surpassed his team record of 18 catches, set on Sept. 14, 2008, against San Diego. He finished third in the NFL last season with 104 receptions.
