Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who won his fourth NBA championship ring last summer, was voted the top player among a list of the top 50 players currently playing in the league.

Bryant was voted the top player in survey conducted by the Sporting News, which polled a group of 107 different people that included Hall of Famers, NBA executives and current and former players.

Bryant had four of his Lakers teammates join him on the top 50 list.

Pau Gasol was ranked 17th, Ron Artest 29th, Lamar Odom 43rd and Andrew Bynum 50th.
