You certainly don’t want to face Chris Paul and Co. without one of your best young defensive players on hand.
This could be the Clippers’ lot on Monday night against New Orleans. They will probably be without shooting guard Eric Gordon, who is listed as doubtful with a sore left groin.
Not questionable but doubtful.
Gordon had 15 points in Saturday night’s three-point victory over Memphis and helped with a nice shutdown effort on O.J. Mayo, who was limited to eight points.
The youngster Gordon played more minutes than anyone else (41:27) and had six assists and three three-pointers. He was scoreless in the fourth quarter, going 0 for 2.
