Five slots left in World Cup qualifying

Wednesday is D-day for soccer fans. It’s the final day of qualifying to fill out the few remaining slots for next year’s World Cup tournament in South Africa.

A few games are on TV. Here’s the schedule, courtesy of FIFA (times are Pacific):

Wednesday:

ESPN2

  • World Cup Qualifying UKRAINE vs. GREECE (live) 10 a.m.

SETANTA SPORTS

  • World Cup Qualifying BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA vs. PORTUGAL (live) 11:45 a.m.
  • World Cup Qualifying SLOVENIA vs. RUSSIA (delay) 2 p.m.

SETANTA PREMIUM

  • World Cup Qualifying FRANCE vs. IRELAND (live) noon.
