It’s free agency season!

The day after the World Series ends is the first day players can file for free agency. Players have 15 days to file. Until the 15-day period is over, players are not allowed to negotiate with any team except the one with which they played this year.

Players eligible for free agency:

ANGELS: Bobby Abreu, Chone Figgins, Vladimir Guerrero, John Lackey, Darren Oliver, Kelvim Escobar, Robb Quinlan.

DODGERS: Brad Ausmus, Ron Belliard, Juan Castro, Jon Garland, Orlando Hudson, Mark Loretta, Doug Mientkiewicz, Eric Milton, Guillermo Mota, Will Ohman, Vicente Padilla, Jason Schmidt, Jim Thome, Jeff Weaver, Randy Wolf.

From the World Series clubs:

PHILLIES: Paul Bako, Miguel Cairo, Scott Eyre, Pedro Martinez, Brett Myers, Chan Ho Park, Matt Stairs.

YANKEES: Johnny Damon, Jerry Hairston, Eric Hinske, Jose Molina, Xavier Nady, Andy Pettitte ... and World Series MVP Hideki Matsui.
