The Clippers’ leading scorer, Chris Kaman, missed practice today because of a virus.

It is not the flu, team officials said, and they are hoping he will be able to play in Friday’s game against the Toronto Raptors at Staples Center.

Kaman apparently didn’t feel well on Wednesday and struggled in the latter stages of the Clippers’ loss to Oklahoma City.

On Monday, Kaman, who is averaging 21.7 points, was named the league’s Western Conference Player of the Week.
