Gene Autry, the Angels’ founding owner, and former Angels manager Gene Mauch are among 20 candidates for induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Managers, umpires and executives are not included in the annual Hall of Fame voting among baseball writers but are instead selected by committees consisting of Hall of Famers, current and former baseball executives and media members. The winners will be announced Dec. 7, at baseball’s winter meetings.
