Any LA fan will vote for the Lakers or the Dodgers. Angels are from Anaheim. Clippers are from hell. Does college sports really matter?

I would have thought that the Lakers would be the fan favorite after winning the NBA championship last year. However, I am more than pleased that USC is the favorite of fans because the Trojans provide the greatest level of excitement and championship level play year in and year out. Also, the months from August to January are the most exciting months of the year because of USC playing for a national championship with exciting plays and players. Matt Barkley will be on the Heisman watch list next year.

Oh my goodness, this isnt fair. So much to choose from! I choose Lakers but I would have picked USC Football over the Lakers has there been an option for USC Football and not just USC which I equate to meaning all USC sports.

I just voted 17 times for my LA based Fantasy Football Team (Other: Foosball Hooligans)! My FFB team is more popular than the Sparks and Chivas USA combined! Either this poll is a joke, or 100% accurate! You be the judge!

Of course college sports count! I'm a die-hard Lakers fan, but I also support USC football. I bet many people are the same (well, probably split between USC/UCLA).
As for your ridiculous comment about soccer fans, well, that just shows you are uneducated and have perhaps been living in under a rock. There are tons of people like myself, who only speak english and consider soccer our favorite sport!

I'm a baseball guy--always have been, always will be--so it has to be the Dodgers...perhaps being born in Brooklyn has something to do with it. I also like the Angels, who are the better organization these days, but that's another story. I'm also a college football fan, so I like USC and UCLA as well.

The shine of the O'Malley years came off the finish of Chavez Ravine with the Fox incompetent ownership---but I hung in there.
Now the rust has set in with the Jaimie and Frank ownership circus of greed and ego.
Have they no pride?
This is not what I signed up for.
I'm done.
My #2 team, the Lakers, is now my clear #1.

I love USC football and UCLA basketball. But the Lakers--"Showtime," Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Kobe, Shaq, Robert Horry, Wilt, etc.!--are THE TEAM in L.A.!!!

The Kings are my team. 40 years of suffering but hopefully turning the corner. Not a fan of AEG but ownership could be worse. They are the best team in L.A. at the moment. First place, baby!!!

Why are the Angels and Ducks even on the list? They don't play in LA.
And there's gotta be something wrong with this poll.
LA is Dodgers, Lakers, USC town. It's pretty clear.
And those "Angels are an LA team" crowd are once again here... the exact ones that Arturo Moreno wants.
What a shame. Arturo Moreno's tactics and business moves should be clear to anyone with common sense.
