Lakers move to 4-1 with victory over Clippers

Andrew Bynum had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and the Lakers defeated the Clippers, 114-105, in an exhibition game Sunday night at Staples Center.

Bynum had 11 points and six rebounds in the third quarter as the Lakers erased a 60-57 halftime deficit.

Reserve guard Shannon Brown also had 20 points for the Lakers. Reserve forward-center Craig Smith had 26 points and guard Eric Gordon had 18 for the Clippers.

The Lakers were without injured forwards Luke Walton, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. None of the injuries were considered serious.

Odom has missed two games because of a bruised right shin, Gasol has missed three games because of a strained right hamstring and Walton has missed three games because of a sore back.
