Add NAACP President and Chief Executive Benjamin Todd Jealous to the list of folks who do not want to see Rush Limbaugh buy the St. Louis Rams.

Jealous met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell today to express the organization’s opposition to Limbaugh’s becoming an NFL team owner.

‘We will not stand for a potential owner, of any race expressing the kind of hatred that Rush Limbaugh continues to spread,’ Jealous said in a statement.

Limbaugh announced his intention to buy the Rams last week. It’s unclear whether he and partner Dave Checketts want to buy the team outright or purchase a minority or majority stake in the franchise.
