MLB.com is reporting that police were called to the home of Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera on Saturday morning because of ‘family trouble.’

Saturday was the same day that Cabrera showed up for a Tigers game with bruises on the left side of his face.

A log entry shows that police were called to Cabrera’s home at around 6 a.m. and lists the complainant as Rosanna Cabrera, the wife of the Tigers first baseman.

Cabrera and the Tigers play the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday in a tiebreaker to determine the AL Central champion.
