Lakers working to repeat as champs

Derek Fisher was apart of the Lakers team earlier this decade that won three consecutive NBA titles, so he knows how difficult it is to win championship over and over again.

In June, the Lakers won the NBA championship by defeating the Orlando Magic in five games. Now, they are faced with the R-word. The goal is to repeat, something the Lakers have talked about.

‘If you did forget to think about it, every fan you ran into this summer, they reminded you,’ Fisher said after practice today. ‘I even ran into some fans that said ‘three-pete’ already. So that shows you what we put ourselves up against in terms of outside expectations.’
