Lakers get a visit from Tex Winter
The Lakers got a visit from an old friend at practice today, one that brought smiles to everyone's faces.
Tex Winter, the Lakers' basketball consultant who suffered a stroke in April, attended practice and will be at the team's ring ceremony Tuesday at Staples Center.
Winter declined interview requests, but he did talk with some of the media members as well as players.
Ron Artest was on the court shooting after practice when he noticed Winter. Artest ran over to shake hands with Winter.
Kobe Bryant, who came out of the training room to be interviewed, hugged Winter.
"The Master Yoda," Bryant said about Winter, the master of the triangle offense.

I'm glad to see that Tex is doing better.

When will the Hall of Fame doors open for this living legend? Mastermind behind 10 championships, may he see his art win more.
