The Ducks today said they recalled goaltender Justin Pogge from the Bakersfield Condors, Anaheim’s development affiliate in the ECHL, after Jean-Sebastien Giguere aggravated a groin injury Saturday night. The Ducks host the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight and Jonas Hiller will be in goal.

Pogge, 23, was first recalled last Wednesday but reassigned back to the Condors later that day. He has appeared in four games with the Condors this season, posting a 2-1-0 record with a 2.10 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage.

He recorded a shutout in Bakersfield’s season opener, stopping all 15 shots he faced in a 5-0 victory on Oct. 16 against the Ontario Reign, the Kings’ ECHL affiliate.
