Right-hander Vicente Padilla will now start Game 5 of the National League Championship Series rather than 21-year-old left-hander Clayton Kershaw.

Manager Joe Torre on Sunday had pulled back on saying Kershaw, the Game 1 starter, would be on the mound to face the Phillies on Wednesday. The Dodgers’ Randy Wolf goes tonight against the Phillies in Game 4 at 5 p.m.

Padilla was the winning pitcher in Friday’s Game 2. Stay tuned to latimes.com/sports for more on this.
