The Dodgers have ruled Hiroki Kuroda out of the first round of the playoffs. Kuroda, who has a stiff neck, already had been scratched from his scheduled start Saturday.

The Dodgers figure to start Randy Wolf and Clayton Kershaw in the first two playoff games, then choose among Chad Billingsley, Jon Garland and Vicente Padilla for the other two starting spots. Padilla is scheduled to start Sunday’s regular-season finale.
