Allen Bradford, Damian Williams win Pac-10 football awards

USC’s Allen Bradford and Damian Williams have been recognized by the Pacific 10 Conference as the league’s offensive and special teams’ players of the week for their performances in a 42-36 win over Oregon State.

Bradford, a junior from Colton High, rushed for a career-high 147 yards and two touchdowns in 15 carries -- an average of 9.8 yards a carry.

Williams, a junior from Springdale, Ark., scored what became the game-winning touchdown when he took back a punt 63 yards in the fourth quarter. A receiver, he also had six catches for 58 yards.

Arizona safety Cam Nelson was defensive player of the week. He had six solo tackles, including two quarterback sacks, and forced two fumbles that set up touchdowns in a 27-13 win over UCLA.
