Pete Carroll‘s decision about who will start at quarterback on Saturday against Washington looks like it could go down to the wire.

Freshman Matt Barkley, who has not practiced for three days because of a bone bruise in his right shoulder, will throw today at practice, Carroll said on USC’s website.

Aaron Corp has taken all the first-team snaps in his absence, so it will be interesting to see if Barkley displaces the third-year sophomore during drills.

‘We’ll see how Matt throws today and go from there,’ Carroll said.

Carroll has said that the starter might not be determined until game-time, and he reiterated that point today.

‘I don’t feel any pressure at all to make this decision,’ Carroll said. ‘We’re going to take as much time as we need.’
