USC football: Joe McKnight receives Pac-10 honor

USC tailback Joe McKnight was selected as the Pacific 10 Conference offensive player of the week for his performance in the Trojans’ 18-15 victory over Ohio State.

McKnight rushed for 60 yards, caught two passes for 45 yards and played a key role in the Trojans’ fourth-quarter drive that gave them the come-from-behind victory.

McKnight turned a short reception into a 21-yard gain, rushed for 32 yards and also caught a two-point conversion pass to cap the game-winning 86-yard drive.

UCLA linebacker Reggie Carter was the conference defensive player of the week and Bruins kicker Kai Forbath was special teams player of the week.
