No USC tailback ran more impressively than Allen Bradford in USC’s 27-6 victory over Washington State.

The junior from Colton gained a team-best 55 yards in six punishing carries during a second-quarter drive that ended with a missed field-goal attempt. “I just knew, once my series came up, once my number was called, I was just going to run hard and be physical and let my teammates feel me and let the coaches feel me,” Bradford said.

Will the performance lead to more carries?

“I can’t tell the future,” Bradford said, chuckling. “Hopefully, but we’ll see what happens.”
