After the Sparks’ 75-64 victory over the Seattle Storm today clinched the best-of-three Western Conference semifinals, the team announced it will host some of its home games in the Western Conference finals at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion. The Sparks face the winner between the Phoenix Mercury and San Antonio Silver Stars, which won’t be decided before their Game 3 on Monday night. Here are the scenarios:

If the Sparks play Phoenix, they will play Game 1 Wednesday at Pauley Pavilion.

If the Sparks play San Antonio, they will have Game 2 Friday at Staples Center. If the series goes to a third game, it will be on Saturday at Pauley Pavilion.

“Postseason scheduling is always a challenge when you call a venue as popular as Staples Center home,” Sparks President Kristin Bernert said in a statement.

The Sparks had a similar issue last year, hosting the Western Conference finals at USC’s Galen Center because Staples Center was booked with the “Walking With Dinosaurs” show. This year, the conflicts at Staples Center include a Britney Spears’ concert Wednesday and a World Championship Boxing fight Saturday featuring Vitali Klitschko and Cristobal Arreola.

Because of the schedule’s uncertainty, the Sparks are currently selling only $19 general admissions tickets that would be valid at both Pauley on Wednesday or Staples on Friday. The remaining tickets will go on sale after Monday’s game between Phoenix and San Antonio.

UCLA students can purchase tickets for $4.50 and staff for $9 with their school-issued ID.
