Former USC star and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sean Salisbury, who was fired from his job as a TV analyst two weeks ago, reportedly has sent Deadspin.com a series of rambling e-mails saying he was going to sue the site and ESPN for ruining his reputation. Deadspin has posted the initial threat and the series of e-mails later sent.

If true, it is really a bizarre series of e-mails apparently from a guy whose career has faded the last couple of years. An excerpt of one:

This is salisbury and I just want u to know ur guys lies andcarelessness about CBS and espn stories has not only ruined myreputation but has cost me jobs so prepare urself for a lawsuit so bigI will own deadspin u will be asked to give up ur sources so since uguys have cost me more than alot of money my only goal in my career isto ruin u like u have me. Sadly I tried to be honest with you and youhave continually written lies.

If Salisbury is really the one sending these e-mails, he apparently didn’t take English or grammar classes while he was a Trojan.
