Tick-tock: Clipper training camp approaching

Few housekeeping duties on the eve of training camp … or, as we were joking today over at Clippers HQ in Playa Vista: Three shopping days remaining before media day.

The first official practice of training camp is Tuesday morning and media day is Monday.

There will be 18 players in camp next week, four of them free agents: shooting guard Kareem Rush, point guard Anthony Roberson, shooting guard Jerel McNeal and forward Taj Gray.

Rush, the much traveled older brother of Brandon Rush of the Pacers, has played with three NBA teams the last four seasons, with a stop in Lithuania between gigs in Seattle and Indiana. He spent last season with the 76ers.
