USC quarterback Aaron Corp took another step in his comeback from a leg injury, completing nine of 10 passes in a seven-on-seven drill during the Trojans’ morning practice.

It was Corp’s first work with more than one receiver and defender since he suffered a cracked bone in his left fibula on Aug. 10.

‘It didn’t look like any rust at all,’ offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates said.

Corp is expected to begin running this weekend and resume practicing in most drills next week as the Trojans prepare for their Sept. 5 opener against San Jose State.

I’ll have more shortly at latimes.com.
