UCLA football to wear throwbacks for homecoming game with Washington

UCLA will celebrate its homecoming game Nov. 7 against Washington by wearing throwback jerseys.

The jerseys will be replicas of the 1967 edition worn by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Gary Beban and teammates, and they were unveiled today at UCLA football media day by Coach Rick Neuheisel.

Beban will serve as honorary captain of this year’s game against the Huskies.
