After missing the last three games because of inflammation in her left knee, Sparks guard Betty Lennox will play an undetermined amount of minutes off the bench Monday against the Indiana Fever, said assistant director of public relations Shawn Trondsen.

Lennox participated in team drills in today’s practice, but deferred questions about her status to the team athletic trainer.

After practice, the trainer said Lennox was cleared to play but unsure whether that would correlate to playing time. The trainer said Lennox would be evaluated again Monday morning. But Trondsen said later that Coach Michael Cooper told him that she would indeed play.

Lennox is the team’s second-leading scorer, behind Tina Thompson. In the last three games, guard Noelle Quinn started in Lennox’s place and notched two career-high performances. First came her 13-point effort in the Sparks’ 63-59 loss to the San Antonio Silver Stars. Then came her 23-point performance in a 79-75 overtime victory against the Seattle Storm, including a jumper to force overtime and scoring eight of the team’s 13 points in extra regulation.
