Matt Barkley six-for-11 with interception in first half of USC mock game

Senior tailback Stafon Johnson scored on two short touchdown runs and freshman quarterback Matt Barkley scored on a quarterback sneak in the first half ofUSC’s mock game at the Coliseum.

Barkley, who was named the starting quarterback Thursday, worked against the scout-team defense. He completed six of 11 passes for 113 yards and had one pass intercepted by freshman defensive back Byron Moore.

Quarterback Aaron Corp has not played. Quarterback Mitch Mustain is not participating because of illness.
