After a mild left knee injury caused him to miss two exhibition games two weeks ago with the Slovenian national team, Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic told The Times in a phone interview that the injury was ‘nothing serious.’

He said he’s practiced with the Slovenian team this week and expects to be competing soon. Vujacic said he sat out as a precaution.

‘The first couple of days, I had tough practices,’ he said. ‘I had a little bit of running. I rejoined the national team, and I’m looking forward to our next game.’
