Dodgers’ Belisario enters not guilty plea in DUI case; hearing set for October

Dodgers relief pitcher Ronald Belisario today pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor drunken driving and a pretrial hearing is set for October in Pasadena.

Belisario, who was with the team in Denver today where the Dodgers beat the Rockies 3-2, had his attorney enter the plea on his behalf.

The 26-year-old right-hander, who has an earned-run average of 2.30 in 51 appearances, was arrested in Old Town in June after CHP officers said they saw him talking on his cell phone while driving and arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence.
