Randy Moss is hitting his stride in NASCAR this season.

The New England Patriots wide receiver co-owns Randy Moss Motorsports with David Dollar that fields two Toyota trucks in NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series driven by veteran Mike Skinner and rookie Tayler Malsam.

Moss celebrated his first anniversary in NASCAR this month with both of his drivers having solid seasons. Skinner, a former series champion, is third in the title point standings with nine top 10 finishes in 12 races, including the team’s first win in April at Kansas Speedway. Malsam is seventh in points with five top 10 finishes.

The series moves to O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis for its next race Friday night, with Skinner trying to close the 154-point gap between him and series leader Ron Hornaday Jr., who has won the last three consecutive races including last weekend’s race at Kentucky Speedway where Skinner finished second.
