Incoming UCLA freshman running back Dalton Hilliard is scheduled to have right knee surgery on Friday due to a ‘loose body’ floating around in his knee, according to the UCLA medical staff. It is thought to be a preexisting condition, the staff said.

Hilliard, at 5-feet-11, 195-pounds, rushed for 599 yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior year at Punahou School in Honolulu. He also caught 63 passes for 725 yards and eight touchdowns.
