Ron Hornaday sets NASCAR Camping World Truck Series record

July 26, 2009 |  3:36 pm

Nascar Ron Hornaday Jr. on Saturday night won his fourth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in a row, becoming the first driver in the series' history to do so.

The win at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis by Hornaday, a three-time Truck Series champion and driver for Kevin Harvick Inc., was also the 44th of his Truck Series career, another record.

In the Firestone Indy Lights series, Camarillo's Charlie Kimball finished fifth in Saturday's race at the Grand Prix of Edmonton in Canada.

Daniel Herrington, driving for Valencia's Bryan Herta and his Bryan Herta Autosport team, was ninth in that race.
